All courses hosted by the Gauteng Ice Hockey Association are facilitated by the Convener of Coaches for GIHA (Eddie Compton) in partnership with the South African Ice Hockey Federation who is responsible for issuing accreditation to all attendees of such courses who meet the minimum requirements as set forth by the SAIHF and the GIHA. Theses courses form part of the broader process of developing coaches within Gauteng.

What can I expect to gain from attending such a course?

Anyone who attends such a course will not only gain valuable knowledge and understanding into the world of coaching, but will also recieve a better understanding of how to manage a practice, bench and actively work with athletes and their club in order to create a condusive learning and teaching environment.
