Benefits

By registering with GIHA and SAIHF members will be allowed to participate in Ice Hockey League games, from there they might be selected for Provincial teams as well as National teams. GIHA participate each year in the Junior, Senior and Women’s Inter Provincial tournaments under the hospice of SAIHF by entering 2 teams in each age group (U12, U14, U16, U18, U20 boys/men; Junior ladies, senior ladies and senior men). During these tournaments players have the opportunity to showcase their skills to the national team selectors. After each tournament National squads are announced for U18 Men, U20 Men, Snr Women and Snr Men.

GIHA and SAIHF is also committed to provide innovative coaching by arranging several training camps for players, as well as training and support for on and off ice officials.
